The templates provide background on the jurisdiction’s merger laws, rules, and procedures and serve as a tool to help members and the public learn about merger control in member jurisdictions. Specifically, the templates provide details about a member’s: merger-related laws, rules, guidelines and forms; agency responsible for merger enforcement; covered transactions; thresholds; notification requirements and timing; review procedures; documents merging parties must submit; policies regarding translation; review and waiting periods; filing fees; confidentiality; sanctions and penalties; judicial review; closing deadlines; and post-merger review.
