ICN Roundtable on Investigative Process

The ICN held a one-day Roundtable on Investigative Process, hosted by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice, aimed at deepening the discussion of how different investigative practices can enhance the effectiveness of agencies’ decision-making and ensure the protection of procedural rights.
The roundtable covered topics including the transparency of agencies’ investigations, opportunities for parties to engage with the agency, and protection of confidential information. The discussions will inform the ICN’s work on investigative process, which is being conducted in the Agency Effectiveness Working Group.
